Finished Product – Button Back Blouse
I wanted to start off by thanking everyone for the sweet comments on my WIP post. I was all upset about the matching plaids but I have come to my senses and realize pretty much everyone outside of the sewing world has no clue about matching plaids!
I really enjoyed this pattern and I already have plans to make it again in a more summery print.
I think I did a pretty darn good job of making plaid flannel stylish! Now I’m ready for some fashionable camping or something!!
Stay tuned this week and I will show you a major rehaul that I did on a dress with a very similar neckline!

Wow, well done! The back is super cute.
You did an amazing job of making your plaid flannel stylish. When you first posted you were using it for this pattern I was doubtful, but man is it cute! Good job
That blouse is way too precious! You did an awesome job!!
so cuuuute!!!!
Love it! I got all excited and was like “what pattern…?” and then remembered it was vintage! Ah well, the search (or drafting…) commences
(And hello to my sister-in-law Karen above me, I didn’t know she read your blog!)
i’m happy you agree with your readers now – the blouse looks fantastic. it would be a shame if you didn’t wear it. (:
i kind of want something like this now… would be so versatile for all kinds of occasions!
looks great!!
that looks fantastic on you!
It looks wonderful…i love it!
Grunge, remade. I like it so much! Can’t see any mis-matched plaids, and I really like the use of bias on the collar. Really well done.
This turned out so great. You are such an inspiration!
I’m glad you came to your senses.
The new blouse you are working on is shaping up nicely. Can’t wait to see it done (no pressure or anything.)
This is SO (sew) cute!! I have a Colette patterns blouse giveaway on my blog if you’d like to enter. Just found your blog and I love it!
