More Than a Week Late and a Few Clovers Short
So I finally had the afternoon off and could take some pics of the dress I made for St. Patrick’s Day.
It is made from this old catalog pattern.
Here’s an up close of the print.

As always I love this pattern but again I forgot to lower the bust darts. They are kinda sky high haha. I already have another outfit sewn up for my trip to Hawaii in a few weeks! Its coming very soon!

Ohmygoodness am I in love with this pattern! It’s so Betty Draper…love. Where do you find all of your patterns?
aw! It’s so cute! I love it! I leave notes on my patterns when I have to do something like adjust a seam. =)
I get most of the older catalog ones off of Ebay. Its the best i can find for the prices!
Yep I definitely put a big sticky note on it now!
Wow – the dress is gorgeous! I really love the print!!
This is looking great, kudos!
For your Hawaii trip, you could consider white shoes and belt maybe? Or would that be too-Betty Draper?
Oh my goodness! This turned out so lovely. What a gorgeous dress. Great work!
Can you be too Betty Draper? or should I say, would that be a bad thing? lol
Wow! That’s just a great dress, I love the full skirt it has to it. Great job!
Hey, this dress is super cute! It is making me think about remaking a dress i made that was similar to this one once. Mine was purple though.
This is so, so cute! Out of curiosity, where do you find/buy your fabrics? I’ve just started to sew, and I’m at a loss on where to find great fabrics besides Joann! Thanks
This was from Joanns… a good place to check is your local thrift stores, my best finds usually come from those spots!
Just out of curiosity, are you wearing a petticoat? I love poofy skirts…
I love this dress! I´ve been looking for a pattern like this for ages, though it shouldn´t be too difficult to merge a couple of the ones I already have, and make them into something similar.
You look great, lovely work!
Yes Miss Virginia I am wearing a light crinoline tho I’d love to go even bigger!! One can never have too much poof in my opinion!
this dress is just perfect! love the cut and the fabric. and i wish it was that warm here already…
I love this cut!!! The pattern is also incredible and a great color too. Doesn’t get much better than that.
