Vacation Shopping and Sewing

So here’s a couple items I bought for my trip

Some Keds Saddle shoes for our museum and touristy days…

This out of control cute vintage embroidered skirt from SpanoVintage

And a couple more sewing projects are on the block!

A maxi dress from Butterick 5486

A vintage inspired swimsuit like this one (from SweetMoonlightShop)

Its fun to have an occasion to shop and sew for! Not that I really need any excuses haha!

that skirt reminds me of 2 skirts i just picked up at an estate sale that are too small for me, but have some fun embroidery on the. they’re longer that this one. i could shorten them from the waist & make them bigger, i suppose…

i also love sewing and shoping for a special occasion! my boyfriend and i are planning a bike travel through france for this summer, so i’m already on the look-out for pretty, versatile clothes. i think it will also be an excuse for some sewing projects. a skort has been on my wish-list for ever and it would be sooo good for riding my bike! (:
