See look I have been doing some sewing! I got my sewing machine back from my Granny a few days ago and it felt so nice to relax over the hum of my machine…
I downloaded the Jane pattern from Burdastyle just about forever ago…. Back in the old days when it was free! I even cut the pattern out of some thrifted fabric last summer but until now I had zero motivation to finish the project.
But look at me now!
I eliminated the elastic under the bust because Im quite a wiggler during the night and I wasn’t too interested in readjusting with each turn. Also instead of trying to making straps I just used some elastic which saved me lots of frustration!
So this print is not something I would think of wearing but for a dollar it works. Plus the silky fabric is pretty perfect for Arizona’s ridiculous summer heat.
So there we go I am officially 1/5 of the way to my Summer Essentials Wardrobe!
