Summer Essentials- Floral Blouse
Finally finished up the floral blouse on Saturday. Unfortunately the remote for my camera is dead and I could only stand like 3 pictures using the normal timer… its like a hundred something degrees outside! So Im not in love with these pictures but they will have to do.
Check out the Summer Essentials Sewalong Flickr page here!
2/5 of the way there!

Stunning! I really like it. Really nice paired with the shorts.
This is a lovely top, such pretty fabric!
This might be a surprise, my first comment on your blog, but I’ve been admiring your work on WR and Burda style for a while! I’ve tagged you in a game of 8 questions, so if you would like to play then please visit me at

If you have time.
Love it! It’s perfect for summer!
So pretty. I love the hat, too!

That is the prettiest blouse ever! I’ve missed your outfit posts! =)
That is really pretty. It looks good with the shorts.
this is so pretty, and it suits you.
great job! did you do the shorts too? i’ve been looking for a good shorts pattern.
The shorts were actually just a pair of oversized pleated pants that I chopped the legs off of. I then just rolled them up (didn’t bother to hem them) and used a belt to cinch the waist.
Wow, it’s done! ^_^ This is such a cute blouse! I also loved the outfit you put together with the shorts, the shoes, the belt, and the hat, really perfect for summer! c:
Oh the nostalgia! I must have made up that blouse 10 times when I was a little mod girl in the 1980′s. You did a beautiful job, very cute.
