Sentimental Heart Dress
I used Burdastyle’s Fatina pattern to make this simple leaf print number.

Here’s what the print looks like close up. Pretty cute!
I made my own facing instead of using a bias binding which I didn’t have the fabric for plus I like the facing better. I ended up doing a lot of fit alterations as this pattern is super boxy.
I would recommend this as a good pattern for beginners and the pattern has a lot of potential for variations. It does look much better than its former self!
Tomorrow I’ll show you a pair of jamies I made out of the cutest cutest print!!

That dress came out great, totally flattering to your body shape, accentuanting just the right curves. Very nice indeed, I cannot tell you enough how much I love to see what you do with “ugly” clothes, you’re like the fairy godmother of ugly clothes because you turn them into jewels! =D
This is my favorite of what you’ve made. It is very classy.
There’s no way to top Shey’s comment, so let me just say: I totally agree and the dress looks awesome.
This looks great! Very chic. I must get to a thrift store!
Wow that fits you so nicely and I love the print too.
Very cute – great with the red belt!
Love this!
